The Next To Me hitmaker has left EMI after a decade as she felt a lot of pressure trying to live up to the success of her 2012 debut album Our Version Of Events and she s said to now be feeling more relaxed about her musical future.
A source told The Sun newspaper s Bizarre column: “Emeli and her label have decided to go their separate ways after ten years together.
“She had a great time and with their support she became a massive success story thanks to Our Version of Events.
“But her two follow-up albums haven’t had the same sales figures and it has been difficult for her.

The Just Hold On singer has been musing over ideas for his follow-up to his debut solo album, Walls , and though he doesn t have any concrete plans to release his second full-length release just yet, the 29-year-old star is sure something will come out before the end of 2021.
He tweeted: I ve been doing a lot of thinking about my next record. It s going to be special!
When one follower asked if he knows when his next LP will arrive, Louis replied: No concrete plans because I don t need that pressure while I m writing. I m sure I will have something out this year but unlikely that will be the album. Who knows though!

The 27-year-old rapper-and-boxer has teamed up with his manager, Mams Taylor, on the new firm and announced their first signee is 19-year-old Aiyana-Lee - a relation of late Temptations star David Ruffin and What Becomes of the Brokenhearted hitmaker Jimmy Ruffin.
KSI said in a statement: “TOT. The online takeover. Ya boy has created his own music label. Looking at my résumé, I’ve always been about making sure the people around me are eating good. So, I am proud to announce that Aiyana Lee is the first of the TOT gang and will be returning with another banger very soon.”
